About The Position

Elmer Chocolate is hiring a temporary, seasonal Forklift Operator for its Ponchatoula factory. The position is expected to end in mid-to-late December. The work is in a chilly warehouse and is scheduled for the day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for 40 or more hours per week. Hours may fluctuate with truck scheduling, and overtime is likely during seasonal high volume. Weekend work may also be needed. The Forklift Operator handles materials and orders in shipping and receiving, operates forklifts and pallet jacks, performs quality checks, and completes related documentation.
