Forklift Operator (Seasonal)
About The Position
The Forklift Operator transports goods and products around warehouses and the building site using a forklift. The role involves identifying, locating, storing, and picking product pallets in racking systems; loading and unloading trucks; following safety regulations; and keeping the facility in good order. Because the position involves transporting valuable items, it requires diligence, attention to detail, and good hand-eye coordination. This is a seasonal, hourly role focused on forklift operation, though duties may shift with seasonal and business needs. Operators may also be assigned manual loading, sorting, packing, or general facility upkeep, and should not expect to operate a forklift at all times. Work is onsite in Vero Beach, Florida. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Requirements
- Forklift certification.
- At least 1 year of forklift experience.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to adhere to the seasonal production schedule.

- 1 year of warehouse experience.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items, both by hand and using lift trucks.
- Keep products organized in the warehouse and racking system.
- Inspect the lift truck daily for mechanical and safety deficiencies.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers using a forklift and, when necessary, by hand.
- Identify and report workplace safety hazards.
- Adhere to safety management standards.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned, including manual loading, sorting, packing, or general facility upkeep.
