About The Position

As a Forklift Operator at Relogistics, you move pallets and other materials through warehouse areas to support production requirements and load and unload customer trailers. Depending on the location and needs, you may also hand-sort wooden pallets and repair damaged pallets. The role supports the success of the Relogistics site.

The position pays $19.50 per hour and is based at 3105 Mango Avenue, Rialto, CA 92377. The listed first shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday; days off will be discussed during the interview. Overtime may be needed.

The work may involve exposure to heat, cold, weather elements, and airborne particulates. Employees may need to repeatedly bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for shifts of varying lengths. Noise levels vary by location. Required PPE includes eye protection and safety shoes; ear protection is mandatory at several locations. The role may require lifting pallets weighing 50 to 75 pounds by hand. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification is preferred.
• One to three years of forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to the appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Operate forklifts carefully and follow company safety procedures at all times.
• Hand-sort wooden pallets when required.
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Move materials through warehouse areas to support production requirements and load and unload customer trailers.
