About The Position

Epic Piping is hiring a Forklift Operator to join its Fabrication team. The operator handles and moves products in warehouse and truck-loading areas, checks product quality and equipment condition, records shipment and receiving information, and follows safety and environmental guidelines. The role may include other duties assigned by the manager. Epic Piping offers training, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth in a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or two years of experience using a forklift in a warehouse and open area.
• At least six months of forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Observe equipment operations, detect malfunctions, and notify supervisors.
• Mark or tag identification on loads.
• Load and unload products to and from trucks and the warehouse.
• Clean the warehouse, work areas, and equipment.
• Clean the forklift and check fluid levels daily.
• Record information such as product quantities received or shipped, meter readings, and dates and times of receipt or shipment.
• Read gauges or charts and record the data obtained.
• Follow safety procedures while performing tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
