About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment and load and unload shipments of various sizes. Operators may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The role includes operating forklifts or other power equipment for 80% of the specified shift.

Requirements

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Ability to pick up and handle up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Warehouse management system experience.
• Material handling experience.
• Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Experience using forklift attachments such as clamps, slips, and forks.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
