About The Position

The Forklift Operator performs warehouse activities including loading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, put-away, and other warehouse tasks. The role requires operating a stand-up forklift and handling products safely and accurately. The operator is responsible for food safety and for maintaining a clean, orderly work area in accordance with company housekeeping policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Six months to one year of Reach Forklift (Reach Truck) experience.
• Ability to walk, bend, and squat.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand on a stand-up forklift.
• Complete knowledge of company GDPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform loading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, put-away, and other warehouse activities.
• Count products and check for damage, infestation, and unique product identifiers such as part numbers and batches.
• Report shortages, overages, and damage on the appropriate forms.
• Apply appropriate labels to products.
• Stack and store products efficiently without damaging them.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area and follow company housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Take responsibility for food safety.
• Complete work in accordance with company GDPs.
