About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring full-time Forklift Operators at its Piedmont, South Carolina service center. The role involves safely moving different types of freight into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. Operators use a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The position is on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with starting pay of $23.51 per hour. Employees earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment and receive a benefits package that includes access to employee resorts.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Some less-than-truckload (LTL) experience.
