About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. The role includes loading and unloading shipments of various sizes and using equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. Operators use forklifts or other powered equipment for about 80% of the specified shift. Initial training is provided for 4–6 weeks on first shift. Applicants may be trained for the role.

Requirements

Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
Ability to pick up and handle up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months of warehouse experience.
Six months of forklift operation experience.
Warehouse Management System experience.
Material handling experience.
Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
Ability to use attachments such as clamps, slips, and forks.
Cold storage experience.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the shift.
Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
Maintain appropriate records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Verify load accuracy, including load count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as necessary.
Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
Assist with physical inventories.
Complete daily equipment inspections.
Perform other duties as assigned.
