About The Position

Greif is hiring a Forklift Operator to support shipment handling, order preparation, inventory organization, and quality and safety procedures. The role receives and tracks shipments; loads and unloads delivery trucks; prepares orders by pulling and packing materials and placing them in the delivery area; and labels and stockpiles shipments by size, shape, and type. The operator also maintains a clean shipping supply area, records damaged merchandise, completes reports, conducts routine quality checks on finished products, and follows organizational standards and safety regulations. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive and track shipments.
• Load or unload shipments in delivery trucks.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
• Label and stockpile shipments according to size, shape, and type.
• Promote a clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Record and manage impaired or damaged merchandise items.
• Complete reports by entering required information.
• Perform routine quality checks on finished products.
• Provide quality service by following organizational standards.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
