About The Position

Tradebe is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for its East Chicago, Indiana facility, the company’s largest processing hub. The role involves handling incoming drums and materials, staging them for processing, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 11:30 AM. Compensation starts at $18.90 per hour, increasing to $19.63 after 90 days, with an additional $1.00 per hour in operator pay and a $1.25 per hour shift differential. Pay is weekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• One year of forklift experience.

Nice To Haves

• One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable.
• Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and move drums with a forklift.
• Follow storage and safety guidelines.
• Identify and segregate materials.
• Complete daily equipment checks and paperwork.
• Assist with processing and sampling as needed.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
