About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator at its West Sacramento, California service center. The role involves safely moving different types of freight into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. The operator works on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The position pays $25.30 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday on various shifts. Paid time off becomes available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Some less-than-truckload (LTL) experience.
