About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse. The role operates a sit-down forklift to load and unload containers and move products, and may involve other material-handling equipment as business needs require. Operators may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. Material-handling equipment operation accounts for 80% of the specified shift.

This is a Team A first-shift position with a 12-hour schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on a rotating Monday–Sunday schedule. Pay is $19.90 per hour, with a $2.00 premium for Saturday and Sunday shifts. Full-time employees may qualify for monthly attendance bonuses.

Requirements

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• General warehouse and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
