About The Position

The Forklift Operator performs warehouse functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock. The role operates on the first shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and pays $17.00 per hour with weekly pay. The operator uses powered industrial vehicles and warehouse technology to handle and move products safely, fulfill customer orders, and maintain an organized work environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency with all powered industrial vehicle (PIV) equipment operated in the warehouse.
• Previous equipment operation experience.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, occasionally 40–50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift.
• Ability to work required overtime based on business demands, sometimes on short notice.
• Ability to understand written English without translation software.
• Obtain all necessary certifications required by OSHA upon hire.
• Dependability and ability to work as a team player.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders from shelves, place them onto pallets, and load them onto trailers.
• Operate industrial forklifts and other powered industrial vehicle equipment safely and responsibly.
• Retrieve and stack products safely using appropriate equipment.
• Use an onboard computer and a wireless radio frequency system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist other warehouse workers with tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor.
• Receive and process incoming stock, pick and fill orders, pack and ship orders, and manage, organize, and retrieve warehouse stock as needed.
