About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment and load and unload shipments. The position is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The role includes case-picking and order selecting by hand, handling items up to 45 pounds, and operating a sit-down forklift. Operators may also use stand-up or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.

This position is listed as 3rd shift and works Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The first week of mandatory on-site orientation is Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is $19.45 per hour plus a $1.25 shift differential. Full-time employees may qualify for monthly performance and referral bonuses.

Requirements

• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Experience with sit-down forklifts, general labor, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Keep appropriate inventory records and reports.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as needed.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Case-pick and order-select by hand, handling items up to 45 pounds, on a sit-down forklift.
