About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. The role combines operation of material-handling equipment—which may account for 30–90% of work depending on production peaks—with material handling and loading/unloading duties. Operators load and unload shipments, move and stage products, and may operate stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused.

Requirements

At least six months of forklift operation experience.
Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
Safely and efficiently operate stand-up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck equipment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months of warehouse experience.
At least six months' experience using a commercial warehouse management system such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, or SAP.
Experience operating other material-handling equipment, such as an Order (Cherry) Picker, sit-down forklift, clamp forklift, or electric pallet equipment.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
Keep appropriate inventory accuracy records and reports.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as necessary.
Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
Assist with physical inventories.
Complete daily equipment inspections.
Perform other duties as assigned.
