About The Position

Responsible for loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse. The role adds customer value by meeting deadlines for delivery and distribution of finished products to ensure customer order requirements are met. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of work experience operating a forklift.
Forklift certification.
RFID scanner experience.
Ability to communicate and converse with others.
Basic reading and writing skills.
Attention to detail and ability to match product and order numbers.
Ability to understand and carry out standardized work instructions.
Basic math ability, including counting and performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division by 10s and 100s.
Ability to apply common sense when carrying out standardized work instructions.
Ability to resolve problems and suggest improvements.
Good judgment and willingness to ask for help.
Must pass the Corelle Brands pre-employment physical test.
Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds; team lift required for items over 50 pounds.
Ability to move about on the production floor for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
Ability to grasp, push, pull, and carry objects.
Ability to manipulate and feel objects, tools, or controls.
Ability to detect and determine colors and shapes accurately.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, including Raymond Reach Trucks, Deep Reach, dock stockers, and walkie riders, to load trailers and pick products.
Complete a daily safety inspection of the forklift before use.
Label boxes as required and assist with manual picking and packing as needed.
Palletize and shrink-wrap finished products.
Scan labels using RF scanning guns.
Follow company safety and security rules and report unusual conditions or problems to the supervisor.
Maintain good housekeeping and organization (5S).
Follow the company dress code and rules of conduct.
Work courteously and professionally as a team player.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
