Forklift Operator
About The Position
Hilldrup is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. This role is crucial for the accurate receiving, picking, and updating of shipment information using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). The ideal candidate will maintain precise documentation and ensure accuracy in all warehouse transactions. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers, handling heavy lifting (up to 200 lbs team carry), and ensuring accurate documentation. You’ll interact regularly with drivers, operations staff, customer service teams, vendors, and customers. Your tasks will include noting exceptions on inbound shipments, loading outbound shipments, and entering all relevant data into the WMS with a strong attention to detail. In addition to handling inventory, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe warehouse by operating a floor sweeper and keeping your assigned area orderly. You’ll also be responsible for general upkeep of the facility and surrounding grounds.
Requirements
- Six months of recent forklift experience required
- Pallet jacks experience
- Cherry picker experience
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to lift and carry between 50–100 lbs, and up to 200 lbs with team support
- Available to work Saturdays as needed
