About The Position

This position involves using various equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within a plant, office, or warehouse. The role requires developing skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within a specific skill area, process, or method. Employees will apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks following prescribed steps, working within clearly defined SOPs and adhering to quality guidelines under general to limited supervision. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Requirements

Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
Mainly manual labor - unloading trucks and stacking pallets - under 25 lbs (some weigh less than 5 lbs).
Must be able to verify labels on boxes and matching to pallets. Attention to detail is essential!
Scanning experience is needed.
Stand up forklift experience needed.
Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
General computer skills.
