About The Position

This specific posting is for a Roll Clamp Driver with a pay range of $24.19 - $26.89/hour, plus shift differential and progressive pay increases. Requirements

Some clamp truck experience required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must speak, read and write in English.
High School diploma or GED required.
Ability to work alternate schedules and overtime that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends.
Must be punctual.
Willing and able to work overtime.
Must have physical coordination to operate a roll clamp truck.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience preferred.
Forklift and hand truck experience helpful.
Knowledge of Sheeting Department equipment helpful.

Responsibilities

Unloading and loading roll stock material from trucks using a roll clamp truck.
Taping damaged rolls to prevent harborage points, as per SQF requirements.
Delivering roll stock material to sheeters using a roll clamp truck and staging materials (e.g., plastic pallets) by the sheeters.
Removing sheeted stock from the sheeter and double-stacking in proper lanes.
Assisting sheeter operators to ensure continuous operation of the sheeter machines, including covering breaks and lunches.
Maintaining proper inventory in SAP, using aged inventory first.
General housekeeping of the work area, including collecting and disposing of paper and metal waste and cores.
Maintaining PIV (Power Industrial Vehicle) certification.
Bringing sheeted stock to the pressroom and removing printed loads from the pressroom.
Completing a full Roll Bin cycle count and re-binning as necessary (done on PM shift once per week).
Performing other departmental duties as assigned by management.
Following all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures related to the production of Safe Quality Foods.
Reporting any potentially unsafe conditions that may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures to a person of authority.
Participating in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions as required.
Following all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
Reporting any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority for recording and/or correction.
