About The Position

UNIS is seeking a Forklift Driver in El Paso, Texas, to safely and efficiently move product throughout the warehouse while supporting inventory accuracy and on-time customer shipments. The role involves operating powered industrial equipment and completing receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and loading assignments accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment, taking pride in accuracy, equipment care, and teamwork.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or transportation environment.
• Forklift or powered industrial truck certification is required.
• Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, reach, or order-picker equipment.
• Experience using RF scanners, WMS technology, and other warehouse tools to complete and track assignments.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights using reach trucks or order pickers as required.
• Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, equipment care, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, overtime, or extended hours based on operational needs.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, reach, or order-picker forklifts, to move, stage, load, and unload product.
• Use RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to confirm product, locations, quantities, and task completion accurately.
• Perform equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance needs, product damage, safety concerns, and inventory discrepancies.
• Follow put-away, picking, staging, loading, and inventory control procedures to support inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and follow PPE, traffic, and warehouse safety requirements.
• Support warehouse operational needs and contribute ideas to improve safety, accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
