About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations in Garden City, GA. The role is intended for someone with hands-on forklift experience who can handle materials safely and efficiently and help the team meet production deadlines. The position offers weekday work at $18.00 per hour, with a supportive, team-focused environment and potential for professional development and advancement. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 6:55 AM. The end time varies depending on production volume. Weekend availability is not required for the regular schedule.

Requirements

Previous forklift operating experience is mandatory.
Ability to safely move, lift, and transport a variety of materials.
Strong awareness of workplace safety procedures.
Good communication skills and ability to follow directions.
Dependable attendance and commitment to arriving on time.
Ability to stay productive in a busy warehouse setting.
Comfort working independently and alongside other team members.

Nice To Haves

Experience in warehousing, shipping, manufacturing, or distribution.

Responsibilities

Move inventory and materials to designated storage or staging areas.
Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
Operate forklifts and other approved material-handling equipment.
Inspect equipment before use and report maintenance concerns.
Use warehouse scanners, product labels, and inventory tools when required.
Organize merchandise and maintain clear, orderly workspaces.
Communicate damaged goods, equipment problems, or potential hazards to management.
Assist with shipping, receiving, and production activities.
Follow workplace safety rules and operational procedures.
