About The Position

The Material Handler 3 works in Fulfillment and is responsible for moving, picking, storing, scanning, counting, and preparing merchandise for shipment. The role operates an Electric Pallet Jack and sit-down forklift to handle merchandise and warehouse inventory.

The position is scheduled for 1st shift, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Eligibility is contingent upon background screening.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.
• At least 1 year of Electric Pallet Jack experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and up to 80 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to count.
• Ability to locate and identify specific items.
• Ability to use a hand scanner to enter data into a computer system.
• Ability to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate an Electric Pallet Jack and sit-down forklift to move pallets and put away items in assigned warehouse locations.
• Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring the contents are accurate.
• Assist with distributing packing materials and disposing of empty boxes.
• Stock items in assigned warehouse locations and participate in inventory counts.
• Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer orders.
• Unpack boxes following standard procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
