About The Position

Under general supervision, this role supports production and maintenance by accurately maintaining material inventory in both computer systems and on paper. The position requires strict adherence to inventory control procedures and involves operating electric and propane-powered industrial vehicles (Tow Motors). Responsibilities include managing receipts, issues, transfers, and conducting daily cycle counts.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the receipt and inventory of incoming shipments, ensuring shipment is processed and placed in the appropriate bin.
  • Ensure the appropriate transactions are entered into the computer system.
  • Process materials to be shipped by reviewing open order reports, pick list or tags.
  • Pull the appropriate material and transfer to required location.
  • Conduct cycle counts as necessary and manage inventory of assigned area.
  • Load and unload trailers and flatbeds as required.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Perform as a Class A Driver.
  • Has the Authority and Responsibility to report non-conforming product.
