About The Position

This position focuses on coordinated case-management, communication, and documentation for patients involved in court-ordered treatment. The role supports clinical and legal processes while maintaining professional boundaries. As a Forensic Social Worker 1, you will perform duties such as coordinating communication with attorneys, courts, county staff, families, and community providers; completing psychosocial assessments and organizing findings in the electronic health record; completing required admission documents; contributing social work recommendations during multidisciplinary team meetings; and preparing discharge memos, notifying forensic security, and assembling referral packets. You will also maintain boundaries, follow security procedures, and meet documentation standards.

Requirements

A bachelor's or master’s degree in social work or social welfare
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree
Must meet the PA residency requirement
Must be able to perform essential job functions
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening
Submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance
