About The Position
The Foreman leads and coordinates employee activities at the North Las Vegas manufacturing plant. The role supports production workers, addresses production and worker issues, provides training, monitors work quality and safety, and records personnel, production, and operational information. The Foreman maintains a safe and clean work environment and follows established safety procedures.
Requirements
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
- Skill using tools and measurement devices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate employees’ activities.
- Assist workers engaged in production activities; troubleshoot worker and production problems and recommend solutions.
- Communicate interactively with employees.
- Train workers in production methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies; monitor comprehension and retrain as needed.
- Follow the work schedule, maintain regular attendance at the worksite, and work overtime as assigned.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, return tools to their proper storage locations, and perform routine housekeeping.
- Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures; identify unsafe working conditions and notify the supervisor.
- Read production specifications and drawings to determine job requirements and plan procedures.
- Estimate material and worker requirements to complete jobs.
- Examine and inspect work progress and equipment to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
- Advise the supervisor when equipment needs attention.
- Record personnel, production, and operational data on specified forms and reports.
