About The Position

The Foreman leads and coordinates employee activities at Jensen Infrastructure’s North Las Vegas manufacturing plant. The role supports production workers, addresses worker and production issues, and helps ensure work is completed safely and according to specifications. The Foreman trains employees in production methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies, monitors understanding, and provides retraining as needed. The position maintains regular attendance at the work site and works overtime as assigned.

Requirements

Demonstrated supervisory experience.
Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
Skill using tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate employee activities.
Assist workers engaged in production activities; troubleshoot worker and production problems and recommend solutions.
Communicate interactively with employees.
Train workers in production methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies; monitor comprehension and retrain as necessary.
Adhere to the work schedule and maintain regular attendance at the work site.
Work overtime as assigned.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, return tools to proper storage, and perform routine housekeeping.
Follow established safety procedures and identify unsafe working conditions, notifying the supervisor.
Read specifications and production drawings to determine requirements and plan procedures; estimate material and worker requirements for jobs.
Examine and inspect work progress and equipment to verify safety and conformance to specifications.
Advise the supervisor of equipment needing attention.
Record personnel, production, and operational information on specified forms and reports.
