About The Position

The Production Supervisor oversees and participates in manufacturing products according to production schedules, forecasts, and work orders. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role leads production employees, supports and troubleshoots production activities, and helps ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process. The supervisor organizes daily workflow, communicates tasks and deadlines, trains employees, and maintains a safe and orderly work area.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
• Experience working with a Quality Control program.
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including email, spreadsheets, and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead employees’ production activities and assist workers; troubleshoot worker and production problems and recommend solutions.
• Train workers in production methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies; monitor comprehension and retrain as needed.
• Participate in and oversee the production process from beginning to end while ensuring product quality.
• Supervise employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, motivating, evaluating, rewarding, and disciplining them.
• Organize daily workflow based on direction from the Plant Manager and production schedules, ensuring production teams understand daily tasks and deadlines.
• Operate tools and equipment according to safety procedures and specified guidelines.
• Maintain an organized work area and properly store tools, materials, and equipment.
• Continuously sweep excess debris to keep the work area safe.
• Engage in interactive communication.
