About The Position

The Foreman (Night Shift) 43427 APEX - Primoris Energy Services will lead and supervise a crew of skilled craft workers on various energy services projects during nighttime operations, ensuring safety, quality, and project schedule adherence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy services industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proven experience working night shifts and managing night crews.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and procedures relevant to energy services projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a heavy industrial or construction environment (OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and communication.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned craft workers (e.g., pipefitters, welders, electricians, heavy equipment operators) during night shifts.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign work tasks, ensuring efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor and enforce strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations. Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
  • Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain project schedule and budget.
  • Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
  • Operate various tools and equipment safely and proficiently as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and other foremen regarding project status, concerns, and resource needs.
  • Train and mentor crew members, fostering a skilled and productive workforce.
  • Complete daily reports, timecards, and other necessary documentation accurately and on time.
  • Troubleshoot operational problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Manage and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
