About The Position

Roskam Foods is a contract manufacturer producing frozen, refrigerated, and shelf-stable products for food brands, retailers, and food service providers. The Foreman helps oversee production operations and supports the company’s goals for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position leads and coaches employees, manages production schedules, operates and maintains packaging equipment, tracks materials and production data, and ensures compliance with applicable standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience leading operations teams in a manufacturing plant.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Professionalism and a passion for leadership.

Responsibilities

Train and coach employees to support strong performance and adherence to company standards.
Manage the production schedule to meet deadlines and production goals.
Set up, operate, and tend to food-packaging equipment, addressing rework resulting from equipment malfunctions.
Clean and sterilize equipment and processing areas to maintain hygiene standards.
Maintain inventory management software to track materials accurately.
Record production data during quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
Gather information through observation, data entry, and database management.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
