About The Position

Krause Auto Group is hiring Automotive Ford Certified Service Technicians for multiple career paths, including Experienced Service Technician and Master Service Technician. Requirements

• Previous experience at an automotive dealership.
• At least 2 years of Ford experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dexterity, a steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer competencies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, friendly attitude and ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean, satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers are informed when additional service is needed.
• Estimate the time required for additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
