About The Position

Lithia Ford of Klamath Falls is hiring a Ford Certified Technician for its service department. The role offers $45.00 per flat-rate hour and up, depending on certifications and experience. Relocation assistance is available to qualified applicants. The schedule is Monday through Friday. The technician will work in a high-performing service department with a steady flow of repair orders and is expected to perform work efficiently and accurately according to company and manufacturer standards.

Requirements

Ford Certification is required.
Prior experience as a Ford Technician is required.
Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills.
Dependability, a strong work ethic, and commitment to punctuality.
Comfort using technology and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions.
Complete work according to applicable safety requirements.
Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly.
Accurately record repair time using company time-clock procedures.
Document work performed on repair orders, including test procedures and results.
Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics’ tools needed for trained work that are not normally inventoried by the service department as special tools.
