About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer-service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and warmly, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience and helps customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending products. The outfitter also promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, prompt customer service and help ensure a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
Demonstrate products to customers and provide information, assistance, and direction.
Identify and evaluate customer needs and make product recommendations.
Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
