About The Position

A fast-growing North American Grower/Packer/Shipper is adding to their small sales team. Our client is a year-round Shipper throughout the Eastern US with growing partners in the Southeast. This position will manage existing Foodservice accounts as well as develop new customers. This company has year-round supply of their core veg categories. (Carrots, Potatoes, Onions & lettuce) Our client has grown by over $70M in the last 5 years with a small, energetic and young sales team. This position is remote based within the Eastern US or Canada with some travel.

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of the fresh produce supply chain and operations.
• Previous inside sales experience within the veg category is required. (carrots, potatoes, onions and/or leafy greens preferred)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• build and maintain customer and vender relationships.
• Account management of both new and existing customer base.
