This is a paid intern position focused on food sustainability and marketing within a campus dining setting. The role involves supporting existing events, assisting with a reusable container relaunch, creating marketing materials, engaging with students, and managing social media content for sustainability initiatives. Learning objectives include gaining hands-on experience in sustainability outreach, event coordination, promotion of sustainable food systems, and developing marketing and communication skills.
Requirements
- Microsoft Excel experience is required.
- Passionate about sustainable food
- Interested in the circular economy
- Excited to engage with fellow students on all things sustainability
Responsibilities
- Support existing events including Farmer’s Markets, DIY’s, Teaching Kitchens
- Assist with our reusable container relaunch, build marketing materials and engage with students in the dining halls
- Take ownership of Sustainability Wednesday content on social media, build a schedule and weekly story postings
- Uphold the company’s values and commitment to creating a better world through sustainable practices
