About The Position

UNC Charlotte Dining Services is seeking creative, dependable, and outgoing students to join our Marketing Team. This is not your typical marketing internship. Our interns are content creators, event planners, brand ambassadors, and storytellers who help shape the student dining experience on campus. We're looking for students who think differently, bring fresh ideas to the table, and aren't afraid to step in front of a camera, work an event, or engage with students face-to-face.

Requirements

• Active on Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
• Strong photography, videography, or content creation skills
• Comfortable being on camera and interacting with others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Creative and think outside the box
• Have a strong work ethic
• Show up on time and follow through on commitments
• Bring ideas, not just execution
• Stay current on social media trends and campus culture
• Want hands-on marketing experience that makes a real impact

Responsibilities

• Create Instagram Reels, TikToks, and other social media content
• Capture photography and video content across dining locations
• Assist with planning and executing dining events and campus activations
• Staff promotional tables and represent Dining Services at campus events
• Promote meal plans, dining programs, mobile ordering, and rewards initiatives
• Conduct student outreach, surveys, and engagement activities
• Brainstorm creative marketing campaigns and event concepts
• Support social media coverage before, during, and after events
