About The Position
The Food Services Worker provides daily dietary services throughout Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital under the general supervision of the Food and Nutrition Services (FANS) Director. The role supports meal preparation for patients, visitors, physicians, and staff; serves customers; and performs cashiering, dish cleaning, and ongoing cleaning of work areas as appropriate. The worker must follow safety requirements set by local, state, or federal authorities and the accrediting organization.
Requirements
- Food Handlers Permit.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service and/or customer service experience in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals for patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
- Serve customers.
- Perform cashiering as appropriate.
- Clean dishes as appropriate.
- Maintain ongoing cleanliness of work areas.
- Adhere to applicable local, state, and federal safety requirements and accrediting-organization requirements.
