About The Position
The Food Services Worker performs routine tasks in the preparation, assembly, service, and sanitation of food for patient meal delivery, retail dining, and catering operations in a hospital setting. The role supports compliance with physician-ordered therapeutic diets, food safety regulations, infection prevention standards, and hospital policies. The worker contributes to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes through safe, timely, and accurate meal service.
Requirements
- Texas Food Handler Certification, or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in healthcare, institutional food service, or high-volume food production.
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification, or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
