About The Position

The Food Services Worker performs routine tasks in the preparation, assembly, service, and sanitation of food in support of patient meal delivery, retail dining, and catering operations in a hospital setting. The role supports compliance with physician-ordered therapeutic diets, food safety regulations, infection prevention standards, and hospital policies, contributing to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes through safe, timely, and accurate meal service.

Requirements

• No prior experience required.
• Texas Food Handler Certification, or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare, institutional food service, or high-volume food production.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification, or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and serve food for patient meal delivery, retail dining, and catering operations.
• Sanitize food-service areas and equipment.
