About The Position

The Food Services Room Services Associate provides patient food service on assigned units. Duties include obtaining menu selections, assembling and delivering trays, picking up trays, responding to special requests and needs, and delivering food between meals. The role is PRN and requires at least one 12-hour shift per week, from 6:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., three holidays per year, and at least one full weekend per month. Associates must commit to two consecutive weeks of training, consisting of three full shifts per week for a total of six shifts. Food & Nutrition Services provides meals to patients, visitors, and Baptist Health Louisville employees. The department has about 120 employees and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Requirements

Must be able to read and write.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Neat appearance and excellent hygiene.
Excellent customer relation skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Must work as needed by the department, with a minimum of one 12-hour shift per week (6:15 a.m.–6:45 p.m.).
Must work three holidays per year.
Must work at least one full weekend per month.
Must commit to two consecutive weeks of training, consisting of three full shifts per week (six shifts total).
