About The Position

This is a full-time, retail position with evening hours from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The team member will work rotating weekends and holidays and is eligible for shift pay differentials. The role primarily involves preparing items for Grab & Go production, creating and assembling sandwiches, salads, fruit cups, and other cold items. The associate will prepare, plate, serve, and transport food and supplies to ensure a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public. Key responsibilities include timely, accurate, and courteous service, maintaining sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices for food safety, and operating various food service and computer equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred
• No experience is required
• Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment
• Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
• Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption
• Requires the ability to climb ladders
• Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time
