About The Position

Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public. Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to wear protective equipment/clothing (gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.).
  • Adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Physical requirements: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
  • Prior food service experience.
