About The Position

This is a full-time, retail position with hours from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The team member will work rotating weekends and holidays and is eligible for shift pay differentials. The primary responsibilities include preparing items for Grab & Go production, creating and assembling sandwiches, salads, fruit cups, and other cold items. The role also involves preparing, plating, serving, and transporting food and supplies to ensure a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public. Key duties include providing timely, accurate, and courteous service, adhering to sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices for food safety, and operating various food service and computer equipment. The position requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements for food production and the ability to climb ladders. Physical requirements include reaching, standing for long periods, squatting, bending, and carrying/lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs or more, up to 80% of the time.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
  • Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred
  • No experience is required
  • Prior food service experience is preferred
