About The Position

Works in the preparation, cooking, serving, and distribution of food to customers, clients, and/or employees at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital. Operates and maintains specialized food service equipment and performs general facility and equipment sanitation maintenance in accordance with federal, state, and department guidelines. Serves as a lead worker. Employment may require drug screening, a TB evaluation, and annual influenza vaccination. Limited exemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs. A national and state background check is required as a condition of employment.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or GED.
The posting requests at least two years of experience in a food service establishment.
Supervisory skills or experience.
Minimum qualifications: high school diploma/GED and one year of experience in the area of assignment, or one year of experience at the lower-level Food Service Worker 2 (FFS011) or an equivalent position. An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications may be substituted year-over-year.
May be required to complete a drug screening and TB evaluation, and receive an annual influenza vaccination, subject to limited exemptions.
National and state background check required as a condition of employment.
