About The Position

St. Peter’s Health Partners-Continuing Care is hiring a Food Service Worker/Utility for Schuyler Ridge in Clifton Park, New York. The role supports food service operations by preparing, serving, and delivering meals, as well as cleaning and sanitizing food service areas. The team prepares scratch-made meals with a holistic approach, emphasizing seasonal, local, and responsibly sourced ingredients. Training is available. Requirements

Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to read and write English at a minimum 6th-grade level.
Working papers are required for applicants under 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Food service experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize food service areas, which may include setting and clearing tables.
Perform dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and other utility tasks.
Serve meals or prepare them for delivery, using correct portions and meeting outlined standards.
Ensure food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
Follow HACCP procedures for proper food handling and production.
Store food in designated areas in accordance with corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures.
Maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
Work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and follow correct procedures.
Adhere to SPHP’s code of conduct.
