About The Position
Hampton Behavioral Health Center is seeking Food Service Workers for its behavioral healthcare center in Westampton, New Jersey. The center provides inpatient and outpatient behavioral health and diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults. The Food Service Worker assists with kitchen and dining-area cleanliness, dishwashing, food preparation, and tray-line duties.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High school graduate or GED certification.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of previous experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean kitchen, dining room, and storage areas, including refrigerated storage.
- Maintain the cleanliness of cooking utensils and related equipment.
- Notify the Food Service Manager about irregularities in food preparation, food or supply availability, or equipment failures.
- Collect and stack dirty dishes, wash dishes, and clean the work area.
- Perform tray-line duties, including reading menu cards to identify tray items; placing utensils, napkins, and condiments on trays; and preparing sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages.
