About The Position
The Food Service Worker assists in preparing the cafeteria and patient service areas for service, greets customers in a friendly manner, and stocks and cleans work areas. The position works under direct supervision.
Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills to meet and serve the public.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak and read English.
- Maintain a Food Handler’s Card.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
- Ability to communicate verbally with patients, customers, and co-workers.
- Ability to perform motor skills including bending, twisting, turning, kneeling, reaching out or up, wrist turning or torquing, grasping, and finger manipulation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cafeteria and patient service areas for service.
- Greet customers in a friendly manner.
- Stock and clean work areas.
