About The Position

The Food Service Worker will work in a local school kitchen or cafeteria for the Penns Valley Area School District. The role supports meal preparation and service while maintaining sanitation and complying with applicable USDA, state, HACCP, and health department requirements. It may also assist with cost monitoring and inventory controls.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks.

• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements, which may include standing for long periods, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting up to and in excess of 40 pounds, and walking.
