About The Position

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a talented and dynamic Food Service Worker for the Dietary Department - (PRN). This role is responsible for effectively operating food preparation equipment, assembling food items, taking and recording temperatures, along with ensuring stock and inventory control. The position performs duties in accordance with MSHD and JCAHO standards and follows facility sanitary guidelines. The Food Service Worker participates in special food service events including orientation and holiday celebrations. This role performs physical food service operating procedures to ensure a food safe, balanced, and appealing health care dietary environment and all other duties as assigned. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read and follow written dietary plans
Must be available to attend the two eight hour days of Hospital Orientation

Nice To Haves

Associate Degree
1-3 years of prior experience in the food service/preparation field
