About The Position
Responsible for preparing patient trays and accurately setting up and delivering patient meals to provide quality service and support patients’ health. The position is per diem with varied shifts at West Henderson Hospital, a 150-bed acute care hospital in the Valley Health System. The hospital provides emergency, cardiac, neurology, surgical, gastroenterology, imaging, laboratory, respiratory, and inpatient nursing services.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Knowledge of proper food preparation, handling, and storage.
- Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card.
- Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit or department.
- Ability to work and cooperate with members of hospital staff.
