About The Position

Under general supervision and within established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, the Food Service Worker prepares, portions, and serves food to patients, employees, and customers and performs related sanitation duties. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Maintain a professional appearance, presentation, and grooming.
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal dynamics.
• Have an excellent command of verbal and written English.
• Be able to lift, push, and pull without restriction.
• Be able to use proper body mechanics.
• Be able to be flexible with work hours.
• Effectively communicate with all age levels served within the scope of the position and assigned areas.
• Perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of oneself or others in the workplace, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or currently working toward one.

Nice To Haves

• Prior food service experience.
• Prior cash handling experience.
